Our Story

Healing Arts Pediatrics is a Direct Primary Care (DPC) pediatric clinic nestled in the heart of Salt Lake City, UT.

Our journey began with a simple yet powerful vision: to redefine the landscape of pediatric healthcare by fostering a deeper connection between families and their child's healthcare providers.

Having worked for large clinics and hospitals in the past, we recognized that the traditional healthcare model often fell short in providing the personalized attention and accessible care that children and families truly deserve. Driven by a passion for pediatrics and a commitment to integrative medicine, in 2021 Dr. Capella embarked on a mission to embrace a new model of care – one that prioritizes the well-being of the whole child and combines the best of both modern medicine and traditional healing approaches.

The DPC model allows us to spend more time with each patient and family, getting to know them and building genuine therapeutic relationships. We understand that a child’s health is influenced by many factors, including genetics, diet, sleep, relationships with family and friends, and their larger environment. We aim to understand these factors as much as possible in order to promote their well-being and create optimal treatment plans when needed.

We also understand that children’s health needs are not always confined to the hours of 8am to 5pm, so we do our best to make ourselves available via phone and text messaging for urgent issues in the evenings and on weekends.
